The Future
I believe that from 50-100 years from now, the world will be much more modern than it is now. For example, only a couple of phones are waterproof, but in the future all phones will be waterproof. In addition, books will be vey rare. People are already using technology to read such as tablets, laptops, etc., and hardly any actual hard cover books. Flyig cars have already been invented, but 50-100 years from now they will be perfected. We dont see flying cars on a daily basis, but we will see them. There will be an entire system based on how the cars should travel in the sky, just like there is here on the actual ground. I believe that 50-100 years from now, people will be able to take trips to the moon and back. Many astronauts have done it, but they will start giving people that right to get make money off of it. It will take a lot of time and effort but they'll manage to set up a way for people to visit the moon for fun. I can also imagine that machines will be replacing people. Many machines are already taking up the jobs of many people and it will continue to happen. I am not 100% sure of what the future has in store for us, but the obvious is that everything is advancing at a rapid pace and in no time we will see crazy/dramatic changes.

A Time I Laughed Really Hard
One time that I laughed really hard was when my mom told me a story about little me. When I was little, my grandma use to sell candy, and she kept the candy in a jar. I was only about 2 or 3 years old when I thought that I would be able to steal a handful of candy and get away with it. Well, my mom told me that she was cleaning the kitchen when she heard screaming and crying from another room. She realized it was me and she ran to where I was, and she found me with both hands inside the jar of candy. The funny part is that I was crying because I couldn't get my hands out, but i would not let go of the candy. It was so simple, all I had to do was drop the candy or atleast get only a peice of candy at a time, but I was too stubborn and I wanted two handfuls. My parents and my grandma thought the sight of a chubby little girl stealing candy was funny, and up until today they still laugh because they say they remember my face expression pefectly. I laugh too because it sounds like something I would do, even at this age.

My Review on Modern times
Modern times was such a great film for many reasons. First off, it was able to communicate many messages and make the viewers laugh, both at the same time. Chaplin expressed his thoughts on the work place, on how to handle a bad sitution, love, and the future. In addition, this film made many people feel better about the situation they were in. What Chaplin did best was make people laugh, therefore the point of this film was to make people laugh and teach them that they must smile no matter how bad the situation was. Chaplin knew that his audience was going through a rough time, which inspired a happy endig to his movie. It was also a grat movie because the audience was able to relate to what was going in the film, for example, the strikes, unemployment, and the over-working. People were able to feel a connection with the film and at the same time have a laugh and learn how to look at the situation in a positive manner.
